The room was very clean although a bit small and breakfast was pretty good. It was relatively easy to get to from the Venice airport and a short bus ride to Venice(15 min). The hotel will sell you the bus tickets. This hotel was also close to the Mestre train station for trenitalia which was a huge plus as we needed to take the train to Florence. The bathroom was CLEAN(VERYVERY important for me) but a bit different from US as there was a bidet(threw me off). Also after seeing few hotels I realized most hotels in Italy(or at least non 5 star hotels) don’t have a shower curtain so we had to shower a bit carefully so that we didnt flood the bathroom. Overall I recommend this place for its cleanliness and convenience.

Stayed here for a long weekend in may. Hotel looks nice, rooms are a bit small but clean. Beds are comfy, tv is little. Only 1 mirror in the bathroom(it wasent a full body one). Breakfast included eggs, bacon, sausages, fresh fruit and cereal. Only white bread wich was old though. Ate in the restaurant, great service and okay food. The bus stops 20 meters from the hotel and takes 15 mins to venice. All in all, nice hotel with friendly staff.

There are better options. Though close to Venice bus stop and not terribly expensive, there are many negatives: 1) We asked for a 8:15 taxi and missed our 8:45(4×30 €) train after reception didn’t bother to call until 8:25(station is 5min drive away, we needed for luggage). 2) showers have no door/curtain and spray water everywhere 3) dinner is expensive and poor, 3x price for comparable meal elsewhere Only redeeming factor is proximity to Venice bus stop, but no hotel in Mestre is that far from one.

HORRIBLEHORRIBLEHORRIBLE! First of all I was furious when I discovered that go-today booked this hotel for us and it wasn’t even in Venice! We had to take a thirty minute bus ride to Venice. If you are expecting to stay in the beautiful Venice surrounded by water and bridges and everything magnificent, this is NOT the place to stay. The staff here was extremely rude. We requested a queen size bed and it was just two twins pushed together which was uncomfortable to sleep in. When I went downstairs to see if we could switch rooms the manager said she absolutely could not help us because she was about to leave in 5 minutes. I went down TWOHOURS later to use the wifi(which by the way you have to pay a crapload for for one hour) and she was still there laughing and cracking jokes with her co worker. When I asked if she could still not help us she responded«NO» and walked away. Nice. Any time she saw us after, she mocked us in Italian to her coworker. They did not know we spoke Italian. They were not willing to help at all and the food in the restaurant is ok. Spend a little more and stay in a nicer hotel thats actually in Venice.

Had to stay at this hotel during a tour for a night. The lobby and restaurant are nice, but the room I had was awful. There was a smell of old smoke mixed with body odor, and the bathroom was horrendous. I sucked it up, as I only had to stay there one night. The bathroom was what did it for me… The toilet, bidet, and shower were growing rust. There was hair in the sink, and in the shower. The room looked like it was«updated,» but at a closer look it was not very clean!(see the photos) We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant downstairs, and it was just okay. The waitresses and people at reception were nice at the very least. When I come back to Venice in my own, I will not stay here again. At least not in room 419!
