We spent about a week in Lavagna, and this is the only true supermarket I ever saw. It’s really small and the aisles are narrow, but they carry just about everything you could need from basics like dairy, bread, and meat, to toiletries, laundry soap, and alcohol. They also have a really top notch deli in the back which has world class prosciutto, speck, salami, the whole nine yards as well as a great assortment of cheeses. I love how Italians get top quality cured meats and fresh cheeses in every rinky dinky store but we Americans can usually only get Boars Head at best. Lucky bastards. Five stars for food shopping in Lavagna.
