Walking around La Spezia, we found this little gelato shop that was open when everything else around it was closed. Service: There was only one guy working the counter and plenty of people lining up to get late-night gelato cravings satisfied. He was courteous, even with the people that didn’t speak Italian, and very efficient. Gelato: I was with a group of 4 people and we all tried different flavors. Everyone loved them truly enjoyed some odd combinations of flavors. True Italian gelato is a bit different — much better — from what you can get in the U.S. and this place did not disappoint. Very recommended!
