A Colpi di Paintball

Stressed? Marital problems? Wanna train for the zombie apocalypse? Come here to let it all out and shoot each other IN THE FACE! (Not really, but you get the point).
The only legal place near Florence where you can actually do paintball in the real woods (called woodsball), compared to other places where they do «speedball» (a plain field with inflatable obstacles that look like a kids’ inflatable party, not equally bad ass at all). Here you have the real wilderness and you are a warrior in the woods who can get real dirty.
This field is not humongous, but it’s pretty big and you can really hide behind trees, in bushes, or even on the ground (there are a few trenches!). We came here twice with a big group and it was way too much fun, worth EVERY bruise.
There is a resting zone where you can chill, rest or prepare for war. Their gear was in top condition, I was impressed with the equipment we got. You get a helmet, neck protector, vest, gloves, gun, and balls (you will need those). They even had smoke bombs! And the prices were very reasonable and affordable.
A duo of paintball professionals will explain you the basics and more, and tell you the different types of games there are (capture the flag, etc). Francesco speaks no English but knows the main words besides «aim, shoot, kill». You’ll be in good hands.
Highly recommended if you want to do something out of the ordinary. He told me this course is pretty popular for bachelor parties! (Now if you could bring the strippers here to use as moving targets is another story).

Looking for a great time around Florence go here. Great course, wonderful staff. Arrange transportation because it is a long walk from the train station. You are guaranteed to have a great time. Great for groups or friends looking to have a unique experience.
