Boccadasse is one of Genova’s most beautiful corners, and this small Trattoria is tucked right in the middle of it. They serve a fresh fish menu, with a lot of traditional dishes that nowadays are hard to find such as the ‘stoccafisso’ which is something similar to Lisbon’s bacalhau. The food is good for the entire meal, nothing too fancy but solid and authentic dishes. The portions are massive, resulting in me leaving half of my main because of a massive mussels starter(photo). There was no star of this meal, but it felt good to be in such a wonderful place and eat very traditional food. The check was slightly higher than what you’d expect from a Trattoria buy you got to pay for the location. Starter + main + wine 45 € per person. Would definitely go back sometime, and absolutely recommended for tourists than want to get a taste of Genova old recipes.
