Cantina Enoteca Montagnani

This Enoteca is run by an adorable little Italian couple, just outside of the main town square in Gaiole. They offer a wide variety of local wines from the Chianto region, along with local olive oil, basamic vinegar and truffles. It was fantastic to find local wines we liked in restaurants, and then be able to find them here to take home to share with friends and family. Most wines were reasonably priced. Wines we had for 20 € In a restaurant were around 12 € in the store. You can’t go wrong at those prices! How spoiled are these locals?!? The owners speak a bit of English, but we managed to make do as we asked about shipping wine back home. It all adds to the experience of travelling through Tuscany!
