Circolo Windsurf Formia

Circolo Windsurfing school is located on the private beach, Lido Risorgimento, in Formia on the Tyrrhenian Sea. There is plenty of wind and waves for all types of water sports. Armando and Francesco will hook you up with wind surfing, canoeing, paddle boarding (sup) equipment and instruction. Their prices are reasonable and the guys are incredibly friendly and fun. They speak English and give great tips on local things to do and see as well. I took advantage of the calmer days and paddle boarded my way around the gulf. The water is clean, clear, warm and perfect for boarding out as far or near as you like. There is a bit of sailboat and canoe traffic, but all the big boats stay beyond the mussel reef, so it is also a really safe area to learn.
