We travel to Puglia every year, and this time we had some business to do in Foggia, but we arrived late and the office was closed, so we set out to look for some lunch and stumbled upon this delightful hidden gem! As you walk in, you are in the ground floor wine bar-restaurant. The walls are covered with wine bottles and there are tables to sit at as well as a beautiful bar. But if you are more hungry than thirsty, then take a walk up the gorgeous blue granite stairs to the upstairs restaurant. Shortly after we sat down, the owner and chef, Nicola Russo, joined us at our table. He asked if we had any dietary restrictions and what our wine preferences were. There were no menus! He selects the freshest seasonal ingredients available and then puts together surprises! We were not disappointed! Everything was to die for scrumptious! The presentation of each plate was a work of art — for your eyes and for your stomach! Nicola is a professional sommelier and chef, so I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed here!
