If you are trying to decide wether or not you should attend any of these courses, let me just tell you now that the answer is YES. By far one of the best experiences I’ve had, which was was mostly thanks to Maurizio’s extensive knowledge and passion for great wines. You will definitely take away much more than the price value of the class, and have great fun doing so! I would do it again in a heartbeat!

My daughter and I attended the «express» wine class with Maurizio on October 12, 2012. Maurizio is exceptionally knowledgeable and entertaining! This is a MUST do when in Florence! My only regret is that we did not take a longer class!

FANTASTIC! The best experience!
Enjoyed the 2 hour Tuscan Classic class on a Wednesday evening. We lucked out and got a private class since we were the only ones there.
I can’t stress enough how much FUN yet educational this was. My husband and I aren’t newbies to wine or wine tastings but we are novices of Italian wines… this class really opened our eyes and our senses to enjoying Italian wines.
Maurizio is AWESOME!
We had the pleasure of his knowledge and enthusiasm exclusively (we got lucky) for 2 whole hours! He has a passion that is contagious and fun! He’s a Master Sommelier that has so much to share. Our 2 hours flew by so quickly.
And the wine is REALLY good too. :) Plus, we learned about olive oils and how to taste olive oils along side wines. Truly exceptional!
If you are in Florence and you love wine or even just like it a little… BOOK a class now! (They also have a location in Siena too.)

If you are looking for a great place to learn about, and taste good Italian wines, Tuscan Wine School is the place. Nice, new school; informative presentations and generous tastings. I attended 3 Wine Lover’s Classes this week. 5 stars! Maurizio is fantastic: Very knowledgable and passionate about wine, but also approachable, funny and honest. This is a great place to learn, ask questions and taste for yourself. They also offer olive oil tastings and during our class, we had some nice surprises, like cheese or chocolate to pair as appropriate with a wine tasting.
