There’s one thing I miss when I travel outside of the States and the UK: a proper pub, one where I can go alone and drink alone and be alone and be totally comfortable alone. The Green Store is such a place. Give me a pint (and some food during the aperitivo because we’re still in Italy, after all) and leave me the hell alone while I secretly nod my head and tap my feet to Zeppelin because that’s what they’re playing. Or talk to me. Either way is okay, and that’s why, goddammit, I love pubs.

Always open, easy parking (except during football matches nights).
