There aren’t really any other places like this that I found in Florence. Seems more in place in a city like Brooklyn than in Florence. Regardless, it was incredible. I got a panini with pear, truffle, and gorgonzola. The bread tasted as if it was literally baked 5 minutes ago(who knows, maybe it was?) and the specially crafted ingredients are equally fresh. The craziest part was that the sandwich was only € 4. Add a glass of great € 1 house red wine, and it was a pretty complete lunch for € 5. I probably would have paid € 8 for the sandwich, to be honest. The owner is also an awesome person. I conversed with him in the little Italian that I know, until he switched it up on me and started speaking near-fluent English. He was extremely helpful and gave me recommendations on what to get. I highly recommend this place.

Food was excellent! I had linguini with rabbit, and it is stuffed in a roll. All the sandwiches are only € 4 and wine is € 1. Cheap and delicious. The owner is very friendly and speaks enough English to explain everything!

Very cool, unique, and tiny sandwich place in Florence. A little difficult to find behind the market but worth the search. Just do a lap around the market and look for his flag and you will find it. The owner is very helpful and although all the signs are in Italian do not let that disuade you, he will explain everything! I ordered the sandwich with donkey. It was very flavorful and delicious. My first time eating donkey was a huge success and I highly recommend the sandwich. My wife did not find her sandwich as delicious as mine. But I still highly recommend checking this place out. Sandwiches and wine are very inexpensive. The owner changes the menu on a daily basis so one day may be different from the other. So you may need to check this place out twice to fully appreciate all it has to offer. It is also nice to not be in the touristy part of Florence for a couple of hours too.
