This little gem is a must! It is a baKery but serves other food. food is so fresh and delicious– I have been craving it since we left. Not much for seating. Had the pizza and a sandwich with crunchy bread ham and cream cheese. Delicious!

Such a cute spot for a snack or light dinner. All of the focaccia’s are beautiful and topped with a huge variety of flavors. I picked the classic with slices of tomato. The bread itself is lightly salty, just crispy enough but still soft under the cooked tomatoes. The flavors are fresh and bright. The prices are low for the quality of food. I paid under 2 euro for a generously sized slice. I will definitely be coming back! The inside is also cute, small and cozy. Seating isn’t plentiful, but a small bar on the side is perfect for a quick stop.

Oh what a delicious schiacciata ! I discovered this place recently and unfortunately my bus stops at san marco so I am doomed, it now happens that i drop by for a quick schiaccita at 19h, so 2 hours before dinner, i am really a bad girl. But taste it, it is really good and you might forgive me more easily. They also have pizza al taglio(shares of pizza) but i have not tasted. From the look, they seem tasty and you have quite a choice of flavors. To sum up, it is the perfect place for a little hunger… or just to buy tuscan bread if you want to avoid excessive behaviors like mine. Note that there is an efficient numbered line: do not forget to take your number as i did! Stupidly waiting for nothing.

(March 2015 Review) Absolutely wonderful pizza and different varieties of sweets and various breads. Definitely a place to stop by if you have time. Staff was very friendly and willing to answer any questions. Do yourself a favor, get it as take away and sit across the street for a great atmosphere while enjoying your lunch and or dinner. Great gelaterie next door as well if you would like some to top of the great experience.

Delicious! And the associates working there are so friendly and adorable! Make sure you stop by when you are in the area. They do not sell coffee, only bottled cold drinks like soda.

Amazing pizza a taglio. Looks like a great bakery too but we never got to the pastries.

Yummy pizza-by-the-slice place in Florence! Their selection changes daily I believe. There’s always a good variety, and it’s pretty fresh. I always want to go here whenever I’m here. My boyfriend claims this is the best place of its kind here in Florence(he was born and bred here), so yano it’s legit.

This bakery was recommended by our B&B and it was along the way to see other attractions(The Galleria Accademia). So basically grab a number when you first come in and stare and drool at the pizza/bread selections while you wait your turn. When they call out your number, you can tell the people behind the counter what pizzas you want and how big you want the slices(you pay by weight and different pizzas have different prices). We got great pizza by the slice for a few euros and ate them leisurely across the street in Piazza di San Marco. Cheap, tasty, and easy!

If you are looking for a great pick me up while in Florence, head over to Pugi. Very close to the Duomo and the Accademia, Pugi is an amazing bakery that you cannot miss. When going into the Accademia’s main entrance, turn around and you’ll probably see a line out the door and onto the street for Pugi. This tiny shop serves great baked treats and wonderful pizza. Their focaccia is second to none, and their service is just as good. They also make quite a nice range of desserts, including biscottini and schiacciata. You definitely should check them out!
