Eles fazem delivery! Aproveite!

I am seriously addicted to their Caprese D.O.P. And how sweet it is that you’re greeted with prosecco? I LOVE this place.

Thanks for the all reviews before because if it was for them I never would have tried this amazing pizza. This pizza is one of if not the best pizza we have had in Italy. It is on par with and maybe better then the king of pizza in Italy(Gabriel Bonci) Pizzarium in Rome. I have never seen anyone prepare the pizza the way they do and the taste is undiscribable. MUSTTRY if your in Florence.

The caprese pizza was absolutely delicious. Ate it all way too quickly and can’t wait to go back in my short 1 week stay in Florence.

Don’t eat here. Unless you are aware that from this point forward, any pizza you have anywhere else will not be as flavorful as perfect like pizza from the Pizzaman. This will be the high bar you set in life for anything round and salty that comes out of the oven. Damn, this will be the high bar you set for pizza, period. Scott and I are completely convinced that the Caprese pizza has some sort of drug in it. The first time I ate here was in 2003 and instantly knew this was the best pizza I would ever have. Fast-forward almost 10 years later, several countries and a few visits to Naples in search of the best pizza and BAM — Pizzaman is still the most perfect pizza I, and probably you once you eat here, have ever had. Obvs I didnt drink back in 2003 so Pasquale(the founder) would tell my friends and me every time to get American champagne… aka Coke! :) I’m happy to see after all this time the original place is still there, and there are other branches. I know that the key to his success was not only the perfect flavor and fresh ingredients, but Pasquale’s amazing energy and true love for a good pizza. I have ruined several of my friends’ lives by bringing them here, as they go back to their home countries and just can’t settle with any pizza anymore. Raffaello is the main pizzaiolo here now and he will make sure you get a little sample of the panuozzo when you walk in the door. Everybody is so nice! If this place was bigger maybe this is where people who die and go to heaven would have pizza. You’ve been warned.

Just admit it, Florence. Go on, hand the crown to this Pizza Man location. I already have! I have brought friends here from The West Coast, the East Coast, the South and the Midwest in the United States– Also friends from Germany, France, Italy, England, Switzerland and Holland! This place has the best pizza we have ever eaten. The D.O.P. Caprese is out of control. Having that said here is my review– I live in the center of Florence. It takes me a solid 30 minutes to talk to Pizza Man and I have done it 10 times. I have only lived here for 5 months. Believe me, it is worth the walk. I usually will buy a beer and drink it on the way, eat my pizza with a beer and walk home– but hey that’s just what I do :) When you arrive the place is VERY small. There are no tables or chairs. There is counter space, small fridges with beverages and trashcans for your empty plates when you are done. If it’s crowded, you stand and eat with everyone else. Very simple, but excellent really– Just like their pizza.(Don’t worry this place is hardly EVER packed.) The pizza is not overly complex. It’s a thin crust and the ingredients are out of this world. They give you a small appetizer when you walk in for you to eat while you wait for your pizza. They also only play latin music, everyday. Which is quite fitting because once you take the first bite of your pizza you will literally want to salsa dance or at least act like you know how and are about to give some lessons. They serve a few beers in bottles for you to enjoy and the prices aren’t that outrageous. For me, I obviously don’t care how much it costs because who puts a price on heaven, right? The pizzas I buy usually cost 7 – 8 euro but they are big enough to fill you up. It is VERY difficult to finish two pizzas here. I however always buy two. Even if I don’t come with another person and take one one with me. I ALWAYS order the caprese and I’m trying to get a feel for the rest of their menu as well. They always have a pizza of the week. This review might seem a little bit biased but it’s only because I am seriously obsessed with this place. I do not stand alone in saying this is the best. Some people just don’t think it’s worth walking that far– More for me!

Excellent pizza by the proprietor transplanted from Naples. After living in Italy for nearly 3 years, I would put this firmly in the top tier of pizzas. House red table wine was also among the best house wines I’ve had. Great, friendly service Highly recommended!
