Really cute store with all things Italian! Great place to get a gift for someone back home or a treat for yourself!

This is a solid little grocery and candy store. If you are visiting Florence, as I was, recommend getting stuff for breakfast and lunch here rather than trying to eat out every meal.

Location: On dello Studio, a side street off of the Duomo. This was an accidental discovery but a good one! The goods: Well, they have everything from Baci chocolate to the best biscotti you can buy(in a grocery store), to dairy products, dry goods and meat. You can easily do your groceries here and find everything you’re looking for. On my end, I wanted basics — milk, yogurt and of course, Baci. They had coffee-flavored yogurt that was so damn good, I wish I could have them ship a case back home. Service: The cashier was very friendly and she even told the couple behind me that their selection of biscotti was top notch. That was good for me to know as I planned a repeat visit! Prices: Some items are really well priced while others are inflated. They do have a very nice selection of items though, so worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Great price for bottled water! Some other items have insane mark ups. One cup of noodle is gonna run you north of 3 Euros.

They have cheddar cheese! Expensive, but they have it. Pegna has a great variety of specialty items as well as everyday items. Great wine selection. Stop in for a gift of wine, chocolates and other local favorites.
