This location of Mordilatte was on my bus route to and from Settignano and the city center. It’s hard to miss – it’s storefront is decorated with several blue patio chairs, a tuft of artificial grass, and a life-size plastic cow that stole my heart. One day I decided to hop off a few stops early and finally try the place. Service could be better – I waited several minutes before I was helped. However the gelato was delicious – the best strawberry I’ve had in Italy. Very good value, too. Mordilatte says it uses all natural ingredients, and it shows from the quality of the gelato. Bonus points for its location, too, giving a chance for people to get a quality treat outside the city center.

Excellent gelato, good price. They give two flavor scoops even in the smallest price bowl. Service could have been a little friendlier, but I can excuse it because of the language barrier– I don’t speak Italian, she didn’t speak English.

Amazing Gelato place I would recommend to anyone visiting Firenze. Located near the duomo on via del servi its a must stop. 2 euros for two flavors its the best value in Firenze.
