Amazing selection of Italian wines and excellent food. The servers were beyond gracious and very knowledgeable about the wines, cheeses and cured mess they offered. Must try. Can’t wait to go back!

This hidden gem is the first spot I hit for a ‘welcome home’ glass of wine and real Florentine munchies whenever I return to Florence. I’ve had some fabulous vintages on their ‘by the glass’ list, and the staff are always knowledgable and friendly. Their sausage, cheese and crostini selections are delicious. Just steps from the Ponte Vecchio, it is an intimate spot with a neighborhood feel that never fails to please.

Best restaurant in Italy. I had the 5 cheese combo and charcuterie. Wow. Get it. The sausage sandwich bite size things were amazing too. Quiet place just away from Ponte Vecchio. I highly recommend this place.

Stopped by for wine tasting and a snack before dinner. Ended up tasting 4 whites and 4 reds(half glasses of each) then following up with a full glass while enjoying cheese and meat assortment. Excellent service with the waitress recommending most of the local wines we enjoyed. For 4 of us, total bill around 80 euro and we ended up so full that we skipped straight to gelato on our way back to the hotel!

We had excellent small plates and wine at this stop just down from Pitti Palace on the Day of San Giovanni. The excellent location has not become an excuse to skimp on the goods. They have great dishes with meats, cheese plates, fish and wine all reasonably priced and delicious. Ciro treated us well and the little bit of special biscotti they had available was top notch with some Porto. Small space– we got there an hour before a number of reservations were due and had a table for an hour. But if looking for a spot after 7pm, get a reservation or stay at the bar.

Delicious lunch of salumi and cheese. Tried the montepulciano and the hubby had the lugana and another white wine.

My favourite wine bar in Florence. Quite small run by three wine connoisseurs that find interesting products that are not mainstream. Lovely array of cheese and salami that you can eat while enjoying the wine. Ask for a «wine tasting» course, they will arrange it for you! It changed over the years, now it’s a lot more popular, but fortunately the character of its origin is still there :)

pour un petit snack vite fait, les produits sont de qualité et le choix des vins est pléthorique mais cela reste très touristique. En meme temps c’est le lieux qui veut cela. En résumé une adresse pour un petit encas mais sans plus

This is a great, small wine and cheese bar near Ponteveccio Bridge. The prices are reasonable and they have a great selection of sparking, white and red wines. The crostini with tomatoes is incredible and their cheese dish is the perfect size to share. If the weather is nice they have an outdoor patio and if it’s raining or cold, they turn on heaters and use the canopy to turn it into a rain and weather proof space.

Great little wine bar, off the beaten path. The owner(I’m assuming?) was very friendly, and even though he spoke little English, it was enough to order some delicious wine and cheese. Wonderful, affordable place for a quiet lunch.

Excellent wine choices(many 4 euro per glass) and staff willing to help, offering suggestions and tasting. Had amazing white wine and a Barolo one night along with a selection of Italian cheese and the most delicious bruschetta. They take their time making the bruschetta to order with cutting the tomatoes, basil and bread and them finish with olive oil and olives. The perfect snack! We actually went another night for a pre dinner cocktail. It got pretty crowded too. There are bar stools indoors and tables outside. If you would like a bottle you can also buy them there. A quality place although at first it wasn’t easy to find.

Cute little wine bar that is off the sides of the busy street by Palazzo Pitti. Had the prosecco and a meat & cheese plate along with bread shared between three other girls. It was worth it for roughly 21 euros total. I would come here again for the reasonable prices. Friendly staff and very helpful waitress! Recommended for cheap wine and early evening snack.

This is one of the best wine bars we went to in Italy. The selection is large and good, and the prices are very cheap. They also had a great meat and cheese selection. Its further into the street, so its a little more quiet and relaxing.

Small wine bar recommended to us by our hotel. Took us a little longer than we’d like to admit to find! Friendly waitstaff, good wine, and we had a cheese and salami/prosciutto plate that was very yummy! Seating inside(at bar) & outside. Free wifi.

I LOVE this place! It’s perfectly situated right by the Ponte Vecchio but just far enough so that it’s cozy and not too busy a street. I learned about Le Volpi e l’Uva through a friend that lives in Florence. I liked it so much I visited twice in a four day period(that’s very not like me since I liked to try different things). They have the best prosecco, and be sure to order the 5 Formaggi Italiani. It’s the best selection of cheese and different honeys. LOVE!!!

This was a cool little spot in the middle of Florence. The wine, cheese, and salumi were all interesting and delicious. A must go for an early evening drink.

Great Little Place. Stopped in here based on the reviews here as well as a few others from around the web. Originally had reservations from a Friday evening but flight delays caused us to miss them. Walked in the following evening and were able to snag two spots at the bar. Nice selection of wines available. I ended up buying a nice bottle of Syrah and bringing it back to the USA based on how much I liked it. The crostone with speck and honey was amazing. Great watching the owners/managers behind the bar taking care of wine and making the food all in two well used toaster ovens.

Wines were very good, and we loved the variety of meats and cheeses! The owner was very friendly. Make reservations; we watched couples get turned away all night. Unlike most wine bars/restaurants here, they will bring your check and clear your table as soon as you are done. If you want to stay, keep drinking!

Wonderful wine bar in Florence. We stayed near the Ponte Vecchio on our 5-day stay and this wine bar was very close and had the most incredible wines, cheese and meats. We visit in the mid-afternoon and we nearly had the place to ourselves. Friendly service and great wines definitely made our trip complete. Very reasonable prices. We also purchased a couple bottles of our favorite wine.

In such a culturally rich city such as Florence, making a reservation just to have some wine makes no sense, right? I’m about to sound crazy… make sure you do. If you love wine and a nice atmosphere this place is a must-see. It closes rather early and it’s always packed, but please do go!

This is one of those places that I always wanted to go but never did so finally I got the chance to hit this place up for a girls night — ‘wine wednesday’ since a friend of mine knew it pretty well. Located in piazza santa felicita, a tiny and very pretty piazza off Ponte Vecchio on the way to Palazzo Pitti, its tucked away next to a restaurant and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. You want to make reservations and sit outside since it does get crowded any day of the week, its just a popular place. We ordered a bottle of prosecco which was awesome along with brischette(toasted bread) covered in cheese & anchovies. We also got a French cheese plate and a bottle of red wine from bolgheri which was absolutely amazing. The perfect aperitivo snack for us girls and we didn’t spend more than 20 euros each so I was pretty happy! Perfect place to bring someone new to Florence or just a relaxing evening with wine & friends, I will be back!
