SO good. We are from NYC and wanted to try this place because we heard about it from a friend. It was our first time here and loved. The seafood pasta is awesome.

Wow! What an incredible restaurant! We were recommended this place by a local… Cosimo…who is renting us his flat. The food was unbelievable! I totally savored my pasta with truffle sauce and tasted my husband’s pasta with rabbit sauce. My friend totally loved her spaghetti carbonara(says it was great) and her husband had orange flavored pasta with tomatoes and rocket salad… very colorful and full of YUM! My husband then ordered a second dish… traditional ravioli with meat sauce… it was outstanding! The flavor of the meat was so delicious that I doubt one could duplicate it at home. We enjoyed almost three bottles of wine and a complimentary limoncello. The service was exceptional and the wait staff friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable and I’d go back every day if I had the time! A definite gem in a city filled with great eateries.

Another restaurant that serves food that is not bad but far from great. Foremost, as the food is mediocre, I would look for another place especially if you have only a day or two in Florence. Here is the review of the dishes we had: — Spaghetti Carbonara — before writing a review for this dish, I would like to say that carbonara is my favorite pasta and that I may not be the easiest customer to please when this dish is in question. So, this version of the carbonara is the«original» Roman version without heavy cream. Only eggs, bacon, pecorino romano and black pepper. The dish was seasoned properly, but I couldn’t taste the pecorino romano cheese. Also, the bacon was thinner than I like and it did not have the desired level of outside crispiness. The pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente, but the spaghetti weren’t home made but store bought dry pasta. Overall a 3 star dish. — Dumplings with gorgonzola cream sauce and leeks. The dumplings are kind of larger, unevenly cut(sized) gnocchi and therefore some were too al dente and some were a lot softer. The sauce was too bland — not enough gorgonzola(if it didn’t say on the menu that the dish was with gorgonzola, I wouldn’t have guessed). Another 3 star dish. — Ravioli filled with beef with meat sauce — although I am sure that ravioli were home made, they appear not to have been made that day, but sat in a fridge drying out for a couple of days(or weeks). This dish has a lot of potential if the pasta was made that day which unfortunately was not the case. Passable dish, but when you are in Italy you are looking for so much more than that, — Green tagliatelle with rabbit ragout — probably the only 2 star dish we had. I couldn’t identify if the pasta was home made or not — if it was, than it dried out from sitting in the fridge, and if it was store bought, shame on them. The ragout tasted like clear chicken soup with tough(small) pieces of rabbit. I wouldn’t recomend this dish. The service is good and the atmosphere is so-so. The restaurant is in the cellar and once you get passed the stink of the garbage containers located right next to the front entrance, you may enjoy your dinner.

We fancied some great pasta so found this place online and it certainly met our requirements. It has very eclectic décor but I liked that. We did the very good value € 18 euro pp for 4 pastas and dessert. My salmon ravioli with cabbage was good, though a little bitter. The pecorino and caramelised pear ravioli was fantastic and I was sad I was too full too finish it. Dessert was also tasty. Wine was lovely and affordable and service was good. All in all I would definitely recommend.

Ir Tegame offers a really cute concept — if you’re 2 or more people who can agree on a menu, you can order 4 pasta dishes for 18 euro(wine, however, is excluded I think). If you love pasta and variety this is a good place for you. I had dinner here with a Unilocal event and can say that the location is welcoming and the manager is very sweet. They easily acommodated my special meal request. I liked the zucca ravioli a lot, though found the tagliolini cacio e pepe a bit al dente for my liking. For dessert, I had the sacher which has a bit too much orange flavouring in it, so I polished off another girl’s cheesecake which, on the other hand, was really delicious. Recommended for dinners with friends, you know how much you’ll spend, and the environment is fun.

This restaurant came as quite the surprise for me. I actually live close to this area but never knew about this place until now. Luckily i got the chance to go for a Unilocal event and discover essentially, another great place in my neighborhood. Very impressive interior, romantic and low-lit with a fun feel. I absolutely adored the wine ‘trees’(literally bottles of wine and glasses in trees) around the dining area. It was charming to say the least and would impress any visitor! The idea of Ir Tegame is a ‘spaghetteria’ or restaurant that’s main focus is…(hard to believe I know) spaghetti! They have a variety of delicious dishes(lots of options for vegetarians as well) and we sampled a variety of pastas including gnocchi with baccala(cod) and leeks with a cream of chickpeas. It was delicious! Plus a salmon ravioli with a creamy red radish sauce which was probably my favorite, and my favorite taglerini al tartufo. The pasta needed a creamier sauce(i take my taglierini seriously) but it was still good. We had a beautiful white wine that went perfectly with our various fish pastas. We also(naturally) got dessert and this time I opted for the famous chocolate sacher cake(its not an easy cake to do right). It was good, don’t get me wrong. but a little dry — so I would go for the cheesecake next time, which I sampled and which was fabulous! The service was impeccable and prices were right as well. I would absolutely go back and soak in the gorgeous ambiance with friends. I wouldn’t recommend this place for those who hate carbs ;)

This is the place for pasta lovers! The décor is romantic and cool and the food is very good. If you can not choose, just try the fixed price menu. You will get 4 courses of pasta, dessert and a bottle of water for 18,00. That is very cheap, especially when the portions are big… maybe too big… BLURP! The staff is young and friendly and at the end we had a nice conversation. The reason that I give 4 stars is that the staff is not experienced enough. I asked the waiter about the wines en this sweet guy told me that he doesn’t nothing about the wine. I am glad that he is honestly but if you have a wine list I always expect that the staff has knowledge of the wines.
