Hotel David

Excellent hotel. Free happy hour 6−8pm– even vegan stuff available! Tapenades, peppers, salsa, breads and crackers, and pretty darn good wine! Made a meal out of it. Really nice idea of the gathering, it encouraged us to get to know other travelers. The place is outside the restricted area ZTL. The private, safe, free parking is a big plus! The area is very nice area and green, we enjoyed the pretty drive on the way there. Staff was excellent, room extremely clean and comfy with tons of extras.

This hotel was by far the most amazing hotel we stayed at through our entire trip. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to feel truly welcomed and cared for. The staff were always helpful and if I ever find myself in florence again I will be staying with them!

This hotel was awesome! Its close enough to walk to the museums, Boboli, Pitti Palace, etc. great safe neighborhood. We stayed for eight nights in room 29, it had two bedrooms and two baths. A king and a twin. The place is spotless and very homey. Free breakfast and happy hour every day. You could not find a better breakfast anywhere! The happy hour was really fun and was between 6:30−8. The people who run and work in Hotel David really are the best. The customer service is amazing. They made our trip to Florence the best.

Absolutely lovely. The service is unbeatable. The hotel is clean, beautiful, and thoughtfully appointed. Truly, we are so pleased with this hotel. Best choice I’ve made so far in planning our Italian vacation!

10 – 15 walking to the city center of 5 minutes by bus (bus stop in front of the hotel)?
Check, check, double check! This hotel has it all and the staff gives us a present (beauty mini products) during our check out. It was very hard to leave this hotel.

Quaint, perfectly clean, and well-​located!
The staff at Hotel David were consistently friendly and helpful. They helped us with tips for getting around the city, offered excellent restaurant recommendations, and they were cheerful about needing to go above-​and-​beyond on a few housekeeping requests.
The breakfast is way better than what most B&B’s offer, and they offer a complimentary happy hour every evening as well!
Wifi, internet, mini bar, 1 free international phone call (10 min), and laundry facilities… what more can one ask for?
The rooms were well-​designed, and the view off our balcony included the Duomo and the famous Florence sunsets. If I ever get to go back to Florence, I will definitely stay here again!
