Chili Cafe’

Convince your boss to let you work out of the office for a day here. The owner is really nice and the décor is really cool and creative. It has a spanish vibe but is very musically influenced. Paintings and photos of artists adorn the walls. You can also find some artwork scattered about in the display case and the portion of wall between the bar area and the seating area. I also really like the fact that they have a classical guitar available for anyone to play. It’s not uncommon for someone to play when the evening crowd rolls in. They have good sandwiches which are served on wooden circular cutting boards which is pretty cool. Really an ideal place for me to go and have a morning/​lunch work environment. I would not recommend sitting at the counter to work if you are above average in height because the leg area isn’t very deep. Not a complaint, just a tip. Who sits down at the bar anyway? (me, obviously: p) I frequent a number of locations in the area and this one is definitely one of my favorites. I’ve never had a bad experience and will likely go there for a macchiato alto today during my work break!
