In the historical center of Florence i found this excellent place for an economic breakfast/lunch. Capuchino only € 2 and pastries(brioche, cookies) only 1 €. If you are on a budget this place is perfect

Large negronis — double the size of most other spots. Rich and thick espresso. Friendly if slow service. € 4 pasta and tomato sauce served all day. Fresh shredded cheese. Best meal in town at that price. Outdoor seating. Full breakfast available. Does not take American Express.

Muy bonito y económico, esta a mitad de cuadra y es un café de barrio, ideal para disfrutar un buen desayuno. Tengan cuidado con el capuccino grande, es realmente grande.

I wanted a big breakfast so I went looking for a big one. «The Big American Breakfast» it was. The fact that it had tripadvisor certificate of excellence was promising, but sends mixed signals… Grade inflation or bawsy… Who knows? It was fine. They served all that they said with a little bit of bacon! Good portion, perhaps three eggs. A very interesting scramble. Very salty, but it was good on the toast. Fresh squeezed OJ would have taken them to five stars!

A great caffé to do homework in, its cheaper than most other caffés near the Duomo. It doesn’t charge a table charge so there is no fear of sitting down and getting charged a bunch. The food is pretty good. The pastries are good. The cappuccinos are good and cheap.

Little café just down the street from our AirBnb room. Nice selection of pastries, Nutella waffle, chocolate croissant, decent hot chocolate. The people at the counter weren’t fluent in English, but we were able to get by without knowing Italian.
