I went here for my birthday with my boyfriend and it was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had in Italy(and one of the best in my life to be honest!) I had the white chocolate, beer and cheese dish which was an insanely delicious and interesting combination of tastes. I also had the pine nut and ricotta cheese ravioli with fresh black truffles which I’ll dream about for the rest of my life. My boyfriend had the slow cooked pork dish and absolutely loved it as well. Because of its small size they only do two seatings a night so be sure to make a review — the husband and wife who run it couldn’t have been lovelier and the small, homespun ambiance was perfect. This is the best culinary experience you’ll have in Florence, a city all too overrun by tourist trap Italian restaurants. Oh, and I sent my friend’s parents there a few weeks ago for their anniversary and they texted me immediately raving that it was the best dinner of their lives. Don’t hesitate — eat here ASAP!

I visited Florence with my friend, who had been there a couple of years ago. He said he had randomly went into Cacio Vino Trallalla by chance, and it ended up being a wonderful place run by fantastic people. His praise turned out to be an understatement. With the wonderful owners, great atmosphere, amazing wine, and delicious food, it turned out to be the best restaurant we visited in Florence, which is definitely saying something. Great place for dinner and conversation!

Just had wine and dessert. Both were great. Husband and wife both ran the place and were extremely nice. They spoke English well which was a plus. Will go back again when we are in Florence.

Just One Word: Outstanding! I didn’t understand the Stendhal syndrome in Firenze until I came here. Only four tables, only incredible prime products… You can smell the Tartuffo from the surrounding streets and you’re called like in Hamelin tales. Every bite is more astonishing than the previous one.

Very intimate(just four tables) friendly casual dining experience just North of Ponte Vecchio. Gracious hostess explained the menu in detail and guided us through the wine list. Splendid food. Split Eggplant Parmesan as a starter which was wonderful. My wife ordered the hearty artichoke pie which was fantastic. I had perhaps the best dish of my 2 week trip to Italy-truffle rissoto with blueberries. Yes, blueberries! Totally unique and delicious. You must order if available as it was a special of the day. The meal was topped off with a chocolate pear tart-unbelievably enjoyable. This is NOT a large place and is a bit cramped but the food and the owners are top notch. Must visit when in Florence.
