Lovely and lively pavilion! Perhaps the Expo theme was not fully accomplished here(like in many other pavilions, it seems a tourism fair instead of a world Expo focused in feeding the planet) but let’s give them some credit because the pavilion is made of recicled apple crates. Anyhow, there’s always something going on in this pavilion: live music, free tastings(the apple juice and chips are great) or some activity, like the DIY bracelets or gingerbread. The entrance of the pavilion is through a long stairway that brings you to a nice garden which seems an oasis of peace in the middle of the Expo chaos(it can get less peaceful as it gets crowded though), then a video I didn’t care much about, and then back downstairs to my favorite area, changing every month or so, from the DIY bracelets, to the cute girl giving away herbs bags for your infusions/teas and to my favorite feature and new bff Vitaslao: a big screen with a face that replies to your questions in any language(like a cooler Siri), we have so much in common! we both love tacos and pierogi :) The restaurant in the ground floor is very good(a friend tells me the chefs are from a famous restaurant in Gdansk), we had a nice dinner here for about 20 euro per person having a starter(pickled herring) and a main course(duck).
