First, the location: tiny hillside piazza Roma with stunning views of the valley. Next, the restaurant: professionally managed, gorgeous linens, calm atmosphere. The service: helpful, friendly, unobtrusive, efficient. Now, the food: fantastic! Thoughtful seasonal menu, meticulously prepared, understated artistic presentation, and delectable. Don’t forget the wines– with just a few hints, they find the perfect, palate pleaser. Dessert– I’ll leave that to pleasantly surprise you!

I visit Al Cavallino every time I return to Italy.
The service is professional; the food is great and the wine divine.
We took my mom here for her birthday. I have to say my teen daughters had a hard time to choose something to eat but at the end they were very satisfied.
Don’t go there before 7pm, they would not give you even water… Italians eat late and that’s a fact. We had a reservation for 7.30pm but arrived at 7.10pm, there was nobody there, and we were seated but warned that someone will be with us at 7.30pm! Oh well, different country different customs.
My favorite dishes are the «Truffle tagliatelle» and «tagliata» which is beef filet cooked on charcoals that melts in your mouth.
