Stopped in at the recommendation of our host, who is a local. Being American we arrived at 7:15, and were informed that don’t open the kitchen to 8, but they graciously sat us at a table and brought out two glasses of prosecco and bread with local tangy cheese.
The food was top notch! Fresh, well presented, and reasonably priced. Better than any of the meals I had in Rome, Venice, or Florence. The ambiance was also great, and the staff gave us excellent recommendations.
We’ll be going again before we leave the area. A real gem, don’t miss it if you have the opportunity!

Castellana Grotte, Italie
LE restaurant de Cisternino, peut-​être même de toute la vallée d’Itria! Magnifique terrasse, personnel agréable, et, cerise sur le gâteau, excellente cuisine. Le tartare de Thon est à découvrir, et la tagliata d’Angus Beef un vrai bonheur. Pour terminer, les desserts sont absolument divins. J’ai choisi pour ma part la «Moscow Mule», mais les desserts choisis par les membres de ma famille étaient tout aussi somptueux: à recommander.
