The Stag’s Head Irish Pub in the middle of Catania is as far from an Irish Pub that you can get. You’re in the middle of Sicily, it’s just another Sicilian bar! It is a wildly popular spot especially for visiting Americans and students studying at the University of Catania.
Any time that I’ve gone to the Stag’s Head, the place has been packed. It is one of those bars that is 99% standing room only. On most weekend nights, there is a DJ playing, but you can barely breathe, let alone dance. I’ve never eaten here, but I wouldn’t even try to given the crowds.
