Service was very good and attentive. We had the mushroom, salami and olive pizza and was very tasty. Must eat when it’s hot or else it becomes soggy quickly. We had the Italian antipasti which is fried vega table, rice and potatoe. That was not the best. Our 8 year old daughter whom I must say is extremely Picky had 2 orders of the cheese ravioli. That was delicious as she said! My husband and I shared the spaghetti with tomatoe sauce and that was also very tasty. This restaurant is located in the Square with beautiful views of Capri and Naples and the sea. Ciao’

We were super hungry and trying to escape the Capri crowds. We arrived at the end of service but were seated fast with nice service. Pizza and pizza sandwiches came from brick oven. Bruschetta, penne with mussels and arugula and carbonara good, not great, but very good. Nice view and great breezes from the windows. If you have no plan and want to get off the square, strong recommendation.

Although we never actually ate at the restaurant we had their takeaway pizza several nights. The pizza is prepared fresh in a full wooden pizza oven by a wonderful pizzaolo. We had such pizzas as calzone, sausage and broccoli, magherita and vegetarian. All were excellent and an amazing value for money: takeaway costs half the price and these pizzas cost anywhere from 4.50 € to 6 € each. Highly recommended.

{3.75ish} Our group arrived at Longano for dinner on our first night in Capri. Our tour guide had explained prior to our arrival that we didn’t have to go, we could spend the money for a pre-fix meal or take our chances at another spot around town. Pre-fix was going to cost € 28 a person(about $ 38USD). Could we have gone somewhere else and gotten a pizza and a bottle of wine for less than € 60, maybe, probably(?) but it was nice not to have to think or worry about dinner after a long day of traveling. For my € 28 I got a 4+ course meal including: an appetizer, a main course, a salad, dessert, shot of lemoncello and unlimited wine. The restaurant also gave each table a pizza w/fresh tomatoes & basil, which was a great way to start off the meal and get a taste of what was to come. For the appetizer course the hubs and I planned accordingly. We ordered two different items and shared. Up first was a pizza w/our choice of topping. We chose sausage which had just the right amount of saltiness to offset the fresh mozz cheese and sweet tomato sauce. Crust on the pies was great too, chewy with a hint of crunch. Our second dish was the gnocchi in tomato sauce. These little tender squares of pasta were really yummy. For the 2nd course we both chose a fish dish. Hubs ordered the Sogliola Dorata(fried sole) in lemon sauce. I snuck a bite of the white fish — so tender and flakey and the breading soaked up the glorious lemon sauce nicely. I wish I had ordered that one… my grilled calamari was ok. I grew up eating my great uncle’s fried calamari. Grilled is … er… different. It wasn’t bad by any means… but it was chewy and lacked some flavor. I made sure to use up the entire lemon wedge they put on my plate, the calamari needed it. The salad was just some iceberg lettuce, nothing to write home about. The wine was good. It appeared to be a simple white table wine but it went down smoothly and just highlighted the lemon flavors throughout the entire meal. For dessert we were served some delicious lemon pastries covered in an amazing lemon fluff like substance. The fluffy topping absolutely stole the spotlight at dessert. Until the lemonello came out. Ahhh whats nicer than a cold shot of lemoncello on a warm summer night? Just a little tip to all: don’t shoot a shot of lemoncello. It’s a sipping drink and you’ll appreciate it so much more if you take your time with it. All and all — a fine dinner out at Longano — the food was(for the most part) very good, staff was accommodating and for our € 28 I think we got our money’s worth. Next time though I’ll be sure to wander town for a bit and find another darling restaurant to try.

Beautiful view with tiny tables and rude waiters. Sausage on pizza undercooked and bruschetta way too salty for us. Many other options in Capri. Don’t waste your time here.
