Restaurant dans un cadre très sympa en bord de canal. L’accueil y est très aimable et les plats servis très copieux pour un prix raisonnable. Une bonne adresse à Burano.

Fabulous. Best value in Italy. Ordered a pasta with mushroom and prosciutto, a mozzarella tomato salad, ½ liter of local wine(recommend it) and a bottle of sparkling water. 33 euro We split all and were sated. All absolutely delicious. Price. Service was friendly and fast. Can’t miss if you go here.

Squid/Inkfish spaghetti and carbonara taste very good! The ice-coffee is special: in the glass there is a scoop ice cream on the espresso, and whipped cream on the ice cream. As I stilled and mixed them up, the coffee is wonderful. The last but not the least, the prices of meals are even lower than the restaurants in mainland Venice.

This restaurant is so cute! The waiter was so nice and accommodating. The seafood pasta dishes were soooo delicious. I love how the restaurant is right by the water it was such a cute place to eat at in Burano. Prices are worth what you pay for the dish.

Great little place to have lunch on your visit to Burano! We had the squid ink pasta and pizza. Pasta was hand made with very strong squid flavors. Pizza had a great crispy crust and full of cheese. Great casual food

We found this place while visiting Burano. Food and service were both good although a bit pricey. Service cover charge is about 2.5 euros per person. Seafood was fresh and yummy.

Visited Burano and wanted to try the famous Gato Negro restaurant. Found out that the entire restaurant was booked by a tour company that day. Saw the menu and nearly passed out from the prices. No wonder why the Gato Negro place is written up by Rick Steves, Trip Advisor and Frommer’s — they cater to large tour groups who have no concept of how much they are spending. Walked back to the area where the touristy souvenir and storefronts are. What a stroke of luck. Principe has indoor and outdoor seating with umbrellas(really needed). The menu is vast and the prices are very low. It took us a few minutes and glass of wine and beer to decide what to eat. We checked out other folks’ tables and asked them what they thought. All of the responses were superlatives for chicken, seafood, pasta and pizza. We chose more cold beer and local wine, then ordered pasta and a pizza. Holy shit — the pasta was some of the best we had in Italy. The pizza was made with a very thin hard crust made in their wood burning oven. It had all the burn marks on the edges that makes it so special. It was the best pizza we have ever eaten in Italy — and that takes in a lot pizza chomping sessions over the years. A few more drinks and we were ready to move to Burano and buy the restaurant. We noticed that the other tables just kept ordering one dish after another and everything was disappearing fast with smiles all around.
