Hotel Caribe di Magi

I’d give this hotel 5 for the balcony view, 3 for the room and 1 for the food. I stayed here for 4 nights on an ‘all-​Inclusive’ basis. The balconies overlook Lake Garda and the view is truly breathtaking. Fantastic at night and stunning at sunset too. The room is basic, but clean. Adequate for my needs as I did not spend much time here. Franco, the owner, is helpful and breakfast, dinner and a 3-​hour bar were included in the price. The food was a big let-​down. It was not authentic Italian, chips were served with the main most nights. The choices included turkey curry, pork escalope and baked chicken legs. On the last night I was served cream of tomato soup, even though I specifically stated I cannot eat dairy products, and I was served fishfingers and chips for my main, so I only ate chips. This is not what I expect from a hotel. Thr waitress was unfriendly and unhelpful when I asked for different food. Unfortunately I’ll not be returning to this hotel, but will definitely be returning to Lake Garda
