Dieses kleine Restaurant war der Höhepunkt eines tollen Wochenendes. Relativ klein aber familiär. Die Herzlichkeit mit der man empfangen wurde zog sich durch den ganzen Abend. Hier kam ich nun zu frischen Tortelini mit dem berühmten Ragu Bolognese. Es war ein toller Geschmack und hatte mit der aus Deutschland hinlänglich servierten Soße absolut nichts zu tun.
Danach gab es geschmortes Rindfleisch, das absolut zart war und in Milch gegartes Kalbfleisch, das ich so nie zuvor gegessen habe.
Dieses Lokal ist ein Muss, wenn man in Bologna ist. Ein Tisch zu bestellen ist ratsam.

I don’t even know where to begin with this review… Their tagliatelle al ragu is worth the $ 1,500 plane ticket to Italy. Seriously. Then of course there is all their other fabulous food. I told the owner/waiter that I was a chef and would like their chef to prepare whatever he chose for my dinner. I was not disappointed. Of course the gnocchi and tagliatelle were handmade. Everything was superb. Pair it with a local Lambrusco wine and you have a little slice of heaven. I suggest ending with their housemade Limoncello. …sigh…
