Hotel La Torretta

I am usually skeptical about hotels who runs restaurants, but I overcame my skepticism for this hotel/​restaurant. I was staying here and the most practical was to have a meal at the hotel. The menu has 5 to 6 options for each antipasti, primi piaci and secondi piaci. There are meat and fish options, I have tried one of each and both were superb! The buffet of antipasti was also great with good variety of grilled seasonal vegetables, salad and local cheese. Overall is a great food quality. The service is okay, nothing out of extraordinary. I remove 1 star because the breakfast is really mediocre, but in general I never found a decent breakfast in Italy. My recommendation is to stop by if you are around!

Wir waren mit 3 mehreren Personen wegen eines EXPO-​Besuches dort. Das Hotel ist in Ordnung, die Zimmer sauber und auf dem Stand der Technik.
Das Personal sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend, das Frühstück für italienische Verhältnisse gut. WLAN ist im Hotel auf allen Zimmern (zumindest auf den von uns bewohnten) kostenlos verfügbar. Hoteleigener Parkplatz vor der Türe.
Das Restaurant ist auch ok. Handwerklich korrekt ausgeführte Speisen bei denen man satt wurde und die nicht schlecht geschmeckt haben. Freilich nicht unbedingt ein kulinarischer Höhenflug, aber mehr als nur «satt werden». Der Weg zur EXPO mit dem Bus (Haltestelle ca. 5 Min vom Hotel, Tickets gibt’s im Hotel) dauert ca. 30 Minuten, mit dem Auto zum EXPO-​Parkplatz ca. 10 Minuten.
