I didn’t think it could happen… but I found a pastry shop in Italy that left me very underwhelmed. We purchased two Sfogliatelle’s to go and both varieties(chocolate and cinnamon) were a bit flavorless. I had initially thought about ordering a cannoli… I wish I had. There were at least a half dozen varieties of cannoli’s plus about 20 other pastries to try. So. Many. Pastries. Ah well… next time…
