Really enjoyed this Plaice.
No we actually had the fish meal deal with the lemon sole and it was delicious. We were in for a quick lunch while visiting Wexford town. We bought just the one meal, costing just less than € 10, between the two of us and sat down to enjoy the wickedness of a unaccustomed fried treat. The meal included tea and bread and tasted terrific. It included two pieces of lemon sole but as we ate the proprietor came with a third piece of sole saying he thought the two pieces were a little on the small side. He was wrong but we still accepted his generosity.
I would recommend the place to anyone and will definitely call in again if ever back in Wexford.

The best fish and chips I had on my visit to the UK, and I took a road trip through England, Ireland and Scotland! I had the haddock which had a delicious light batter that was fried to golden perfection. The portions are huge so unless you’re starving it would be fine to share as they give you a mountain of thick chips! You will not leave hungry! My wife had smoked cod which was really good too and interesting because I’ve never seen a smoked fish battered and fried before, but is was brilliant! The indoor seating is limited, so I would not recommend for large groups unless you get take away.
