Sea Lodge Hotel

Waterville Kerry — the site of the All Ireland Coastal Rowing Championships 2015, a place swarming with rowers from across the country for the weekend.
We were really lucky to get a last minute booking at the Sea Lodge Hotel, newly reopened, in the heart of the small seaside town. After a long drive across country, we were greeted by friendly staff, comfortable beds and luxurious toiletries, all a short walk from the lake where the competition was taking place.
In addition to comfortable surroundings, the food here was excellent, with the staff able to cater for our large group of hungry rowers at dinner time (most of whom weren’t fortunate enough to stay in the hotel), as well as providing substantial breakfasts and great coffee and lunch. Even when we tried to eat elsewhere (to give other local places a chance), we kept ending up being drawn back again for more!
