We are a family owned Independent practice — specialising in family eyecare. We have an extensive children’s range, including special needs children’s eyewear. With over 25 designer ranges in store we cater for all tastes and budgets.

We accept both Medical Card and PRSI patients and provide value eyecare for private, student and seniors.

Kjell Nolke F.A.O.I. is also a low vision specialist working with the NCBI in providing optical support to persons with reduced vision.

Contact lenses fitted and supplied in Nolke Opticians are from an unrestricted range. We are a Johnson and Johnson centre of excellence and supply many of our contact lenses at the best prices available.

History

Established in 2004.

Owned by Kjell and Yvonne Nolke we are a family owned opticians. We are now part of the EyeZone Group of independent opticians. In this group we provide excellent local, independent service and value with a nationwide network of practices allowing us to give our customers unique eyecare produces at great value.

Business Owner

Kjell Qualified in 1993 in DIT Dublin, worked in London, Australia and New Zealand, Southampton before opening the practice in Waterford in 2004 with wife Yvonne and two children Ewan and Katie.

Previous work included practice in Independents, multiple group practices, hospital work as well as laser clinics.
