The Thirsty Bull

The Thirsty Bull is a nice suburban pub way out in Tyrrelstown. Sure, it may be out of the way for many but if you live in the Dublin 15 area then it may not be so bad. You could jump on the 40d from town and get there nearly an hour later but why would you want to?
Well apart from being a nice pub, they do usually have a few Craft beers available, usually from the Hilden Brewery. That in itself is not a good reason since you will get a far better selection in the City Centre but the Thirsty Bull has something else going for it, albeit for a very select consumer.
Chicken Wings, no wait let me rephrase that. Hot Wings!!!
Unless things have changed since I was in there sometime last year, they serve the hottest chicken wings in Ireland. Things may have changed because their website no longer boasts that claim but for now I will assume it’s the same.
They have a number of different levels of hot wings. I had the second hottest and they were painful to eat, but as with anything spicy, they give you a buzz and were delicious. The hottest wings claim to use the worlds hottest hot sauce.
Like I said, you are not likely to travel there but if you are in the area and have never popped in then go ahead. It’s a nice place with good food and a nice layout.
