Lynch Hugh

It all started out quite good. On the inside, Hugh Lynch’s is a lovely low ceiling traditional pub.
There is a lovely outdoor beer garden with a brick fireplace for when it’s cold.
It started to go downhill later on when the place went from a nice and relaxed traditional pub to a DJ ridden menace of a place. It got to the point where I could not even get to the bar to order a drink the place was so packed. Now it was just after a tag rugby blitz so there may have been more people than usual but as far as I am concerned, any pub that puts on a DJ and light show and encourages dancing is somewhere to be avoided.
No one could hear what anyone else was saying even when they were shouting (which you had to do).
So I think for me, Hugh Lynch’s might be a nice place on a Sunday afternoon but avoid it like the plague late Saturday night.
