I came here just before 8:50am and thought they were open, but the server nicely took my order anyway. I got a filter coffee while I waited for my French toast. When the server brought my breakfast, she gave me an extra cup of coffee saying it was more fresh! This was really considerate. The french toast was lovely, bacon and maple syrup. The pickled onion stuff on the side wasnt really my thing but other people might like it. Love the service here.

Not a bad food option in The Square Tallaght as an alternative to all the fast food offerings. I had the four salad plate for € 7.50 and it was only € 8.50 for the lasagna and chips and one salad. The salads were fresh, tasty and a little bit different, they change daily but I really liked the quinoa, squash, and broccoli salad. The lasagna was pre-cooked and then reheated in the microwave, so it didn’t taste the best but the chips were good. The other food options look great, especially the stuffed croissants and they have a great selection of cakes. Over all, one of the better places to eat in The Square.

I adore this place. In the shopping centre it’s located in it seams to be the only good non fast food, greesy outlet. It offers bright vibrant fresh and delicious salads always with the option of some freshly cut home made bread. They offer plenty of hot options too from excellent full Irish breakfasts to quiche, cheese and Ham croissant spinach and ricotta roulade to skin on fries. Their cakes are rustic and granny’s kitchen style so offer that nostalgic feel. The majority of staff are extremely friendly and accomodating and offer to go above and beyond.

Breakfast here is lovely and great value! You can get a 5 item breakfast with tea/coffee and toast for € 5.99. The sausages are so tasty and if you get scrambled egg it’s made fresh. Delicious food, great value and wonderful service with a smile.

Yes they do sandwiches that are aleady made up but one day i asked the lady behind the counter to make me up a special one and she did :-) i dont like pre made sandwiches so this ticked a big box for me, also the fact that the lady was willing to go out of her way to make me happy was great! The cakes really do look yummy in here, big cup cakes with lots of frosting! yum! but the one i had a raspberry and white chocolate one was not as good asit looked, it wasnt as fresh as i wanted it to be. One thing i like about this place is the seats, they are all overlooking the centre so you can do a spot of people watching while your having a break from shopping, nothing better than that is there?

La Croissant Dore is probably one of the better Cafes in the Square. It sell made to order sandwiches and some hot food, but what drew me in were the nice looking cakes. The café is on the top level of the square with the counter facing out and a seating area partially hidden behind it. This area looks down over the rest of the shops but doesn’t feel too closed in. The coffee and tea is pretty good, but at 6 euro for a not-very-large slice of carrot cake and a tea it seemed a little pricey to me. The cake was quite nice all the same, and served with real cream(rather than that horrific fake stuff). I’ll probably fall into this café again, but grumble about the price!
