I’ve only visited this bar late one Sunday evening after dinner a few miles west in Dungarven when Monday was a bank holiday. We were obviously the only non-​locals, but they didn’t mind us visiting their local hangout. The bar is large enough to include separate tables across from the bar. A pint of Guinness is most reasonable. The bartender was surprised when I «bused» our glasses to the bar. I told him I was a bar owner for ten years and knew how hard it was for a lone bartender to cover both the bar and the tables.
Stradbally is off the tourist beat, but does have a nice cove and beach just to the south of the village square.
