I can’t believe this place is not yet reviewed on Unilocal.It was fantastic! The five stars rate it relative to other pubs in Ireland. We had beef stew, a.k.a. Guinness stew, and lamb liver. The beef stew was excellent. The lamb liver was very good, though a tiny bit overdone. As good as the food was the ambience and the staff. It’s a bit off the beaten path, and that means it attracts more locals than tourists. The staff were friendly and very forthcoming with their own personal favorite items on the menu. Worth the effort for a little bit of extra walking. Be advised that they do charge for a pitcher of water.
