One of my two favorite pubs in Skibbereen. This is because of the nice family who has owned and operated the pub for many years, plus the fact they don’t blare obnoxious music — definitely a place for a quiet pint in a safe atmosphere. Perhaps the best thing about the Corner Bar — just up from the West Cork Hotel — is the trad music session Monday nights. The best place to spend a Monday night or for a quiet pint at other times.
