Nick’s School of Motoring

I have had an awful experience with this company! I purchased a Groupon City Deal for this company, it was Four ETD Driving Lessons. I have purchased many City Deals and am completely aware of all of the guidelines, exclusions, etc. so I had made sure that I had read them carefully before moving forward.
On March 1, 2012 I called the company to book in my lessons and the receptionist gave me a number to text in all of my details including my address and that Nick would get back to me regarding setting up an appointment. I received a call within a few days and we scheduled our first appointment for 10am on Friday March 9. Thirty minutes before my appointment I get from Nick saying he needs to cancel my appointment due to being out of log books (which I’m sure that he knew at least the night before and it would have been nice to inform me at that stage, but I’m not passing judgement). The appointment ended up rescheduling with him for Thursday March 15 at 9:30am. Twenty five minutes before my appointment I get a text from Nick asking to text him my address for the 3^rd time as he can’t find my address on the GPS. I immediately text back and gave him all of the details. I get a call at 9:45am saying that he can’t find my house, he didn’t get my text and that he doesn’t cover the north side of the city, only the south side, and that it was an inconvenience for him to come all the way to my end of town as he’s already in town. He informed me that he would have the driving instructor that covers the north side call me back within a few days to reschedule.
Two separate times I have been cancelled on, two times I have had to take time off work only for them to cancel on me. From the get go, they had all the correct information and have been wasting my time. For whatever reason, they seem to be able to run a business. I will not recommend them to anyone and I would even go out of my way to steer people away from using their services.
