Their selection of cards & gifts is quite extensive. They have everything from newborn on up. They are extremely pricey. You will find things here that you won’t find another stores. So if you need something original or different try them

SWALK has been here in the Swan Centre for years, so it must be doing something right. The selection of cards is broad, and yes, you can find one for every occasion, but the prices are extortionate. It’s only a folded piece of paper with a pretty picture, so why charge as much as € 4? If they were handmade, then maybe I could stretch that far, but most of the ranges stocked here are mass produced, and the designs are really pretty ordinary.
I am a fan of their stationary though, the notebooks range from pretty and girly designs to functional, leather bound diaries. They also stock a nice range of frames which can be useful for last minute, panic presents, but again the prices are too high and Dunnes next door has just as good a selection at half the price.

Yes indeed SWALK have all the pretty things… all those really nice themed cards and designs are here. Cards and wrapping for every occasion. There’s even little gift ideas in branded notebooks etc… You would just love this shop. I could just love this shop… but everything is soooo expensive. Once I was looking for a baby gift and I saw a cute pair of booties in a box here and they were 25 euro… I nearly died. And the thing is not that I would not have spent the money on the gift rather it would have looked way cheaper than it was. And it was lovely… everything here is lovely, and sometimes I buy the odd special card here, but you really would want to have buckets of cash to get all your gifts here.

Swalk is one of my favourite card shops. They have every single type of card that you could need, but not just that, they’re actually nice and funky. It’s not just traditional cards that have corny messages inside, they are cards I’m happy to give to people I care about.
They also do gorgeous albums, notebooks, recipe books, diaries and gifts.
