This is a great local café with friendly staff and a varied and tasty menu. It has a homely atmosphere and the tapas on a Friday and Saturday night are delish! Easy to get to and plenty of parking! Well worth a visit.

I don’t usually review places but it was so terrible I feel I need to! Service was awful and we were surrounded by tables that hadn’t been cleared even though there were only 6 people in the café the whole time! Overpriced for supermarket food and the lasagne we had was drowning in cheddar cheese and very possibly just reheated! If my friend wasn’t so hungry I would have left before our order even reached the kitchen because of the attitude! The scone was very sweet but alright, it wouldn’t be enough to make me return. No wonder it was so empty!

Just want to let everyone know that this is probably one of the best little bistros i’ve been in here in Ireland!!! The atmosphere is really welcoming and warm. Caroline the owner is just simply great… and thanks for taking the time out for a chat :)

This is a comfortable and pretty neighbourhood café with all the standard dishes; lasagne, chicken curry, tuna melt and so on. I had the chicken curry, which was fine, nothing special. The curry sauce tasted like packet curry sauce and was served quite liquidy, and the chicken was probably not fresh, but it was perfectly edible. I had an overpriced slice of apple pie and tea for dessert, nothing to write home about. The décor is lovely and the service is good, but Simisola is not worth going out of your way to visit.
