Godfather’s Pizza has now been taken over by Pizza Hut and renamed PHQ, yet the pizza is still Godfather’s Pizza! Confused? So am I! But all you really need to know that the pizza is still the same as before, it’s just the name that has changed and thank heavens for that because Godfather’s Pizza makes really good gooey cheesy pizza’s and excellent garlic bread pizza! Their Godfather’s Bellybuster € 21 with pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, onion, peppers and pineapple is Saturday night heaven by the slice! The base really is crispy on the crust, which you can have stuffed if you like, and the middle is lovely and light and fluffy. The base is not to thin and not too thick, it really is just perfect! As for the price, well it is more or less in line with the other pizza joints in the area but at 14″ for a large it is two inches smaller than Four Star Pizza. As for the Pizza Hut influence? well, I am not too sure how that is going to affect things yet, but as long as they keep serving and making the Bellybuster and garlic pizza bread, and don’t put the prices up any more, I will keep calling every Saturday night! Oh and delivery is free too!
