It looked and felt like a pub, alright(in a good way!) and our waiter was terribly friendly, staying to answer questions and even pull out a map of Galway to show us some places to visit(and how to get there). Excellent service. Wifey and I split some lamb stew, a side salad, and a side of chips. We got some brown bread and butter as well. The oddest parts of the meal were the most delicious: the salad dressing was surpisingly nice and the brown bread was fantastic! The hero of the meal, though — the lamb stew — tasted a bit like it came out of a can… A bit bland and overcooked for my tastes. And the chips tasted like chips, so there you are. Still, we enjoyed our visit, mostly due to the nice service. The search for fantastic pub food continues, but this wasn’t half bad.

Litte pub with good food and friendly waiters! The waiting room upstairs is a bit calm and boring. In Oughterard definetly the best pub!
