Being the biggest and best place to shop in the small town of Newport Sheridans (Centra) have an opportunity to gouge every tourist who walks into the place, but happily they don’t.
Instead they offer a huge selection of pretty much anything a local or tourist alike might need (food, wine, cleaning products etc…) and at reasonable prices.
Newport has two of the finest butchers in the land (Keanes and Kellys) but they can be expensive, Sheridans has a very respectable fresh meat & fish counter and the quality is pretty good for the most part — certainly for BBQ the produce is perfect!
