Went to this place as JRB was jam packed but didn’t get disappointed. Food was very good and service was quick. I will definitely go back to this place again! Highly recommended :-)

I don’t know whether it was the venue or the company that made this such a great night. We were brought a platter of breads with pesto sauce and butter. I had the mushroom soup, which was so thick I had no more room in my belly to even sample the salmon fish cakes or chips that my companion had got us to share.
He requested a fancy French wine in his perfect French accent but then again, he is French so I didn’t have to feel too inferior. Plus, I could be pretty nifty at ordering things like «Jemme-​sun» or «Mack-​ar-​dills».
We sat there ’til close, discussing foreign cultures, literature, relationships, and work. The evening was perfectly rounded off by a coffee, which I thoroughly enjoyed but which kept me awake half the night.
The waitress was extremely pleasant and instead of the «Are ya right there folks, please?!» that I’m used to, she tactfully asked, «Would you like anything else from the bar because we’re closing?»
A wonderful evening.
