This is a good little local posting house doubling up as a reasonable news agency. I was a little disappointed they didn’t have any boxes for posting stuff in, but well, you can’t win ‘em all.

An odd little shop with a modern post office hidden in the back, the shop supplies a few news papers, a big selection of children’s colouring books and lotto. Very hard to see how places like this survive but they do and we should all make an effort to use them on occasion to keep them in business, you never know when you’ll be stuck for a 3 Euro box of chocolate fingers!

This place does exactly what it says on the tin… it is a post office and to me offers little more than that service. I would have thought that the local post office/shop would have more appeal and community spirit than this establishment offers. The spar shop across the square has a more community feel to it. The post office has let itself fall into a sort of decline, it has post office hours and therefore closes at very frustrating hours. and represents to me a place for older people.
I don’t know why but i always feel a little uncomfortable in here… oh dear!
