Most people only ever pass this place on the DART between Booterstown and the crossing at Merrion Gates. That incidentally is where you can access the beach area. You get a lot of photographers here getting shots of the wildlife and also of the Dublin city skyline.
It often gets a bad smell on sunny days because of Booterstown marsh… but other than that it is a nice place to look at as you pass… or if yo take the time to visit with a camera or for a quiet walk

This a beach near Blackrock. It’s usually not packed with people and has good views for the most part. It attracts a lot of wildlife which makes it a nice place to gather your thoughts.
It’s a sandy beach and is kept very clean.
