Rosies Bar Ballydehob

Rosie’s Bar is the perfect place for some good old fashioned Irish craic! I’ve been on sabbatical in West Cork for a couple of month, and have visited most of the local pubs in Bantry, Durrus, Ahakista, and Ballydehob (as well as several other villages further out). Rosie’s is definitely the place to go for live music on the weekends! The bar is a traditional Irish bar in the front, and a music venue in the back room. There’s also a cool beer garden out the back door. It’s definitely cozy, but that adds to its charm. The staff is super friendly. I’ve seen the local cover band Loose Change a couple times, and they are excellent. If you are in the area, and want a taste of true Irish craic, visit this place on a Friday or Saturday night when there’s live music on! You won’t regret it.
